DVCC had another great night at the crit racing in carlisle this week.
It was Emma Searson’s debut race but this did not stop her from showing her strength by pulling plenty of long hard turns up front.
It was Jasmine Dean’s first crit race as a junior, and despite being on restricted gears she mixed it well with the senior women and did a great strong ride.
Femke van Schelven was pleased to stay in the group and even managed to finish with a sprint at the end.
Philip Wake was the first of the DVCC men to give it the spring crit series a go. It was a tough race for phil with a great mixed E/1/2/3/4 category field. After initially finding the pace very rapid, Phil settled in to nicely lapping on the back of the bunch.
It was another great evening of racing for DVCC which wraps up the last of the spring series of crit races. Theres a short break before the fun commences again on 5th July.
